Yard Sales Crossing

State Lines!

Pack a bag and spend a couple of days searching out all those treasures you’ve been longing to have! Southeast Kansans and northeast Oklahomans are getting together to host towns full of yard sales just for you on Friday and Saturday, September 10 & 11.

The 3rd annual KAN-OKLA 100 Mile Highway Sale will take place on Sept. 10 and 11. The area will be packed with yard sales and flea markets with the route running from Sedan, KS to Coffeyville, KS south to Nowata, OK

east to Bartlesville, OK

north on Hwy 75 thru Dewey, Copan,

OK thru Caney, KS north 4 miles to

Caney Valley Antique Power Associations

flea market where camping will be

available and on north to Independence,

KS. The towns of Dearing,

Independence,Caney, Dewey, Coffeyville,

Lenapah and Nowata are also planning

city wide sales. And several of the towns will have large areas along the highways for sales to set up with maps available in each town.

The Kansas towns along Hwy. 166 include:

  1. Caney Valley Antique Power camping and flea market

  2. Caney with it’s Safari Zoo

  3. Tyro, home of ‘Little House on the Prairie

  4. Dearing’s King Coffee Company

  5. Coffeyville, home to the Aviation museum, Dalton Museum, Brown Mansion, and many antique and

  6. specialty shops in a beautiful historic setting.


Not to be outdone, are the Oklahoma towns of:

  1. Copan with its picturesque lake

  2. “Discover Dewey, Oklahoma’s antique destination”,

  3. known for the Tom Mix Museum, the Dewey Hotel, Prairie Song and antique and specialty shopping

  4. Bartlesville is famous for the Price Tower

and historic residential oil baron district

  1. Nowata, home of the Historical Museum,

bowling ball art and

Nowata’s opry style country music show. 

  1. And Delaware’s great pancake breakfasts,

  2. Lenapah’s historic museum

  3. South Coffeyville squares off the trip back north.
